Elephant & Castle presents: The 3rd Annual Breaking Chains sponsored by: Dynamic Discs

Welcome to the 3rd Breaking Chains! As always, we’d like to start off by thanking our title sponsor: Elephant & Castle Fine Arms. Doug Bowen, the owner of E&C has quite a collection and stock of guns and ammo. If you need something along those lines go see him off the square in Ozark.

We’d also like to thank Dynamic Discs for being our disc manufacturer sponsor. They did another great job on the discs & dri fit shirts for the players packs.

Last but certainly not least, a shout out to out Tour sponsors: Elephant & Castle Fine Arms, Patriots Gold & Silver, Dynamic Discs, Innova Champion Discs, Fossa Disc Golf, Prodigy Discs, Creator Designs, MVP/Axiom Discs, Millennium Golf Discs, Discmania, 8Up, Greazy Dyes, Discs Unlimited, Swing Right Golf, Intuitive Body Works & Massage and Sticky Dyes.

Also, a big thank you to Dan Bull, Travis Baker, and Peace Chapel, for the continued hard work keeping this course in tip top shape. It’s truly amazing what they have done in updating and maintaining the course. Thanks again and keep up the great work. Your efforts are noticed and appreciated by many!

Everyone needs to check in at the pavilion. Check in begins at 8:00. Tee off is at 9:00. Remember there is a large roll over Ace Pot in play. Don’t forget to pay your $5 and get into the Ace Pot before the first round starts.

Scores for the tournament should be kept on the PDGA website. Player course and hole assignments will be posted Friday night at The link to online scoring is The access code is PC18. DGM staff will receive them at tournament central. When round one is finished, lunch will be provided in the church. Round 2 should start at 1, but will be determined by the last card in. Player course and round assignments will once again be posted to the PDGA event page, and scores should be kept on Per PDGA rule, if anyone should require a paper scorecard, they can be made available by DGM staff.

Please keep in mind that AT LEAST two people should be keeping score on your card. The PDGA has fixed their electronic scoring such that multiple people can be keeping score at the same time. It will even tell you when different scores were entered for the same person on the same hole. Having multiple scorers will help eliminate mistakes.

Rules for the courses are listed below. MVP/Axiom CTP is hole 2. Trilogy-only CTP is hole 7. Prodigy-only CTP is hole 9. Unbranded CTP is hole 16.

**Even if not specified, tall grass and beyond on all fairways is hazard. Play from where it lies with one stroke penalty. There is no relief from this, except to rethrow from the previous lie with a stroke penalty. In general, the forested area is NOT hazard or OB, unless specified. If there is any question about any throws or lies, try to make a group decision. Remember that the benefit should go to the player. If no decision can be made, play a provisional. When possible, consult with the course TD to determine the correct answer.
