Patriot’s Gold & Silver presents: The 10th Annual Bear Hollow Ice Bow Players’ Meeting

Welcome Back! As 2023 left, 2024 arrived with a vengeance bringing freezing temperatures that will be remembered for a long time to come. This year’s Reflection Tour kicks off the year with the Bear Hollow Ice Bowl that Nick Helm spear headed 10 years ago. He continues to make it happen, and I want to say thanks for all the behind the scenes work you put in. Thanks and great work!

Welcome to the Patriot’s Gold & Silver 10th Annual Bear Hollow Ice Bowl! Thank you Jeff Ford for jumping on board as the title sponsor again this year. Worth mentioning, this event is where I first met Jeff. He was eager to help out sponsoring, and continues to be a main contributor every year since!

I am currently working on my Tour Sponsors and am excited that I have several new opportunities. By the next event I should have the full list of DGM’s Tour Sponsors! The temperatures will be very low Saturday. The weather itself looks to be clear. People have asked what constitutes cancelling the second round. My answer is this: I want players to be safe first and foremost. That said, if there is a chance for Icee precipitation during/after the 1st round, I will 100% cancel the 2nd round. I want players to get home safely. Fortunately I have not had this happen, and with the clear but cold forecast Saturday, I am planning on two rounds. Dress and prepare accordingly.

Everyone needs to check in at the pavilion.
Round 1 tees off at 10. The official scorekeeping will be at pdga.com/score. The code is ICE. Round 1 player course and hole assignments will be posted shortly after registration closes Friday night at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/76794. The staff will automatically receive the scores at tournament central. After the first round, you're on your own for lunch. Round 2 SHOULD start at 1, but may change based on last card. There will be an announcement by DGM staff, and round 2 assignments will be posted on the PDGA page.

Rules for the course are listed below. There will be two CTP’s (Hole 1 & Hole 2) and any disc can win. If there is any question about any throws or lies, try to make a group decision. If no decision can be made, play a provisional. When possible, consult with the course TD to determine the correct answer.

Course distances and OB rules: All concrete and walking paths are OB. In most cases, simply refer to the posted sign for rules
