Welcome to the 12th North Ark Open brought to you by Elephant & Castle (Thanks Doug Bowen and heal up soon)! I have to start by giving a huge shout out to Matt Bell, Director of Explore Harrison. For thirteen years our partnership has continued to produce one of the best events on the tour. Before we started the North Ark Open, the new course here was introduced at one of DGM’s Finale tournaments. Nearly every year the NAO fills up. This event continues to raise and contribute money to the EDGE program. We are proud that this event has been a part of the Tournament Charity Program (TCP) for many years. Above all, North Ark offers a beautiful and challenging course. The maintenance crew at North Ark College keeps it in immaculate condition. We hope to continue each year “Exploring Harrison” as this tournament continues on! Thank you Matt!!

We also give a big thanks to our Tour Sponsors. Without them we couldn’t make the tours happen: Elephant & Castle Fine Arms, Patriots Gold & Silver, Kinney Amusement, Innova Champion Discs, Dynamic Discs, Fossa Disc Golf, Prodigy Discs, Creator Designs, MVP/Axiom Discs, Millennium Golf Discs, Discmania, 8Up, Greazy Dyes, Discs Unlimited, Swing Right Golf, Intuitive Body Works & Massage and Sticky Dyes.

Everyone needs to check in at the concession stand or in the trailer if there is poor weather. Round 1 tees off at 9:00. Scores for the tournament should be kept on the PDGA website, but we can have paper scorecards available if necessary. Player course and hole assignments will be posted Friday evening athttps://www.pdga.com/tour/event/78327. The link to online scoring is https://pdga.com/score/. The access code is NAO. As of January 1, 2024, all players must record the card scores to pdga.com. DGM staff will receive them at tournament central. When round one is finished, everyone is on their own for lunch. Round 2 should start around 1, but the official start time will be based on receiving the last card after round 1. Player course and round assignments will once again be posted to the PDGA event page, and scores should be kept on pdga.com.

Rules for the courses are listed below. Unbranded CTP is hole 5. MVP-only CTP is hole 6b. Full Turn CTP is hole 7b. Prodigy-only CTP is hole 17. If there is any question about any throws or lies, try to make a group decision. If no decision can be made, play a provisional. When possible, consult with the course TD to determine the correct answer.
