Recap of the 9th Annual Dragon Ridge Open:

This day in May started out with sunshine, but soon the sky turned dark and the rain started. Shortly after we had two lightening strikes close together with in 6 miles, so we had a 40 minute weather delay. The rest of the day was warm and muggy, but we finished in plenty of time before dark.

Thank you to the volunteers that helped with the new line on 5 and the tourney prep: River Flagg, Troy Eisner, Triston Stark, JC Vest, Dylan Cash, and John Gibbel.

There was a full field of 90 players who came out to compete in this tournament, with 12 divisions represented.

The Hot Round of the Day: MP50+ winner Dasun Keylor shot a 1028 rated 2nd round to
pull off a one stroke win. He also Aced the last hole to gain the one stroke “W”. Congratulations, Dasun!

The Hot Round of the Day for the ladies was Alexis Kerman’s +5. This event has become one of her favorites having multiple wins. Congratulations, Alexis!

Jeff Ford won the Monkey Trap in the raffle!

Top score of the day was Touring Pro, sponsored by Prodigy Discs, Jake Hebenheimer with a final score of
100 (-8).

As mentioned above there was an Ace by Dasun Keylor who took home the $335 in the roll over ace pot along with the tourney pot!
