Elephant & Castle’s 7th Annual Ozark’s Dam Open Recap:

This year was by far the best weather we have had for this event. Mid to upper 70’s, clear skies, and no wind to speak of made for the perfect chance to score well. All the fields definitely took advantage and shot some incredible golf on the Ozark’s Dam course.

I want to again thank Jason, the plant manager, for choosing to pick up where Randy Richardson left off in supporting this event. Jason made sure that the course was maintained/ready for tournament play, and also made sure there was monetary support for the event donated by Liberty Utilities. We appreciate him and his maintenance crew!

Along with E&C thanks to H2Ozarks who partnered with us this year, provided us food, and brought us some incredible raffle items. We hope that the partnership that we made will continue on.

Hottest Round of the Day:
This mention goes to the youngest player in the Pro Open Division, Blake Pettigrew, who shot a huge -14 that rated 1046 in round 2. Unreal kiddo! Keep it up!!

Congratulations to all players who cashed!
There were no Aces hit, so the Magic Monkey Roll Over Ace Pot will continue rolling. There is now $435 in the pot for the Finale.

In the raffle there were 3 big ticket items along with many other prizes. The DD Basket was won by Trevor Williams, a two ticket package to Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater ($450 value) was won by Brett Meyer, and a $600 boat rental package was won by the the 1050 rated raffler, Brad “The BudMan” Hilton!
